Anarres Press is an all-volunteer anarchist small press in Seattle, named out of admiration for writer Ursula K. Le Guin. We print seditious materials.
sedition: (noun) conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.
We use the term sedition broadly: inciting people to rebel against the state and the (dis)order underlying it, white-supremacist-capitalist-patriarchy. It’s been quite fashionable to oppose imperialism and monarchs, and complaining about government is practically traditional. But the hard work of achieving freedom will be to abolish all the interlocking forms of oppression. As part of that project, please share this collection of zines and posters.
